I've certainly gotten my fun out of this game and I understand it's userbase is falling (meaning the game is pretty late in it's lifespan) so they probably aren't too concerned about it anymore but it really is extremely broken. I just don't understand what purpose these updates have and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the issue. It's not like they're making the base game better because the physics are more broken and even if it were making the base game better, they should weigh the benefits of an update with how many important mods it'll break. The only likely path to improving this MIDI player is for Garry's Mod to ditch its outdated Chrome 18 based embedded browser (Awesomium) with one based on modern versions of Chrome (Chromium Embedded Framework). However, for one, not all of the broken things are part of mods and secondly, I don't understand why they would put out updates that break mods. Several issues with sound playback in the Source engine prevent any improvements. I understand that it's the updates that are doing this and some of the things that are broken could be fixed by modders updating their mods for the new updates. Автор сообщения: %%%I don't play Gmod too much anymore, mostly because of how broken it is, but I pop in every now and then to mess around and every time I do, it seems like the game is glitchier, laggier, and more things are broken.
